A large silver lock necklace of silver with the addition of Coral and Turquoise . Lock necklaces are worn for protection , usually for a male child . This pendant  depicts the twin Hehe who appears on the pendant flanked by immortals and a tableau of scholars objects and symbols of luck and prosperity. The lock depicts several immortals. All are in very good silver  Ching Dynasty, last quarter of the 19th c .  The coral and turquoise have a faded patina from the long wearing and oils from the skin. This happens sometimes when the users skin  PH is of a certain type
